My Story

I never set out to become a copywriter.

Like most of my clients, when I trace it all back, I see that it was a series of brave steps that got me here…what I call intuitive nudges.

In 2015, I left my tiny, rural mountain town in New Hampshire and moved to Boston for college.

I studied Mental Health Counseling and I LOVED it. The classes I took on spirituality and expressive arts therapy changed my life.

Yet, every time I imagined myself spending the next 40 years of my life, sitting an office all day with back-to-back clients, I felt sick-to-my-stomach with dread.

As a free-spirited sagittarius and a girl whose love language is booking spontaneous plane tickets when the impulse strikes me, the 9-5 life felt like a hard NO in my soul.

I know you feel me.

One day, I stumbled upon a Pinterest article titled, “How I make a full time income blogging while traveling the world.”

I thought, “If they can do it, why couldn’t I?”

So, sophomore year of college, I started a travel blog.

My travel blog idea quickly fizzled out (probably because I had only traveled out of the country twice? Don’t ask me why I thought a travel blog was the move hahaha)

And I started a self love blog.

One year later (and an insane amount of determination), I had grown my email newsletter to 10,000 subscribers through blogging and Pinterest.

I was receiving emails every week from women around the world, “Thank you! Your emails are so inspiring!”

And I had begun making $300-$1k a month selling e-guides I created in Canva.

I was mind blown… I was actually doing it! Making money online doing what I loved!!

I made the difficult decision to leave my career as a mental health therapist.

There was only one thing in the whole world I wanted to do and it was grow my coaching business.

I’ll never forget going to a business retreat and a 7 figure coach said to me, “You have an email list of 10,000 people and you’re only making a few hundred dollars? You’re sitting on a gold mine!!!”

She was right. I decided to release my awkward feelings around selling (funny how most of us had this as newbies, right?) And I decided my impact was meant to go deeper than selling a few journal prompts in a PDF.

When I sold 9 spots in my first group coaching program, Soul Purpose, I knew coaching was what I was meant to be doing.

With the support of a couple of business mentors in my corner, I began having consistent $5k+ months… allowing me to take the biz to full-time, a dream come true!

When I had made around $30k from my self love business, I pivoted into business coaching to help other healers grow their online businesses.

And as my clients began to celebrate bigger wins (like signing their first clients & taking their own biz to full time)…

I realized my zone of genius was in marketing.

Collectively, my two coaching businesses have generated nearly $200k in online coaching sales, mainly from selling to a small Instagram audience.

I’ve signed $5k and $10k clients from my content.

I’ve made tens of thousands of dollars directly from Instagram Stories (even with less than 50 views a day.)

I make FAR more money now than when I had 10k email subscribers, which is what happens when you learn to attract the RIGHT people, not just anyone!

I’ve written copy that’s led to $3k sales for my clients.

I’ve supported clients with their copy as they’ve celebrated $100k months.

I never set out to be a copywriter and marketing mentor…

But when I trace it all back, it all makes so much sense.
